Water + Sun Barrier Lotion
You might think me to be a little strange to be writing a post about sunscreen when it's the middle of winter, but hear me out as I justifymy crazy ways.
We all know the harmful effects the sun can have on our skin, hair, eyes, etc!But did you know the sun's most damaging UVA & UVB rays can actually strike youon cloudy days! So even if it is rain, hail, even snow or shine, we really allshould be lathering up in this stuff year round!
I was fortunate enough as part to Beautyheaven's video trial team to test this particular lotion out and I have to say, it has remained a firm favorite for ourwhole family. (We're onto our second bottle!)
The bright yellow bottle is just so bright and fun looking, it makes me happyto look at on those cold winter mornings whilst dreaming about the warm sunshine,and sand between my toes as I walk along the warm waters edge.....
What I love about this is the super high SPF of 50! With a young family, it is soimportant to me to look after them and with this at least I know I am giving themthe best skin protection I can. It is also water resistant for up to 4 hours, which Isperfect in the warmer months when we're swimming in the pool or at the beach.
The lightweight formula makes it easy to apply and rub in without giving you thatless than appealing white ghost look. It absorbs into the skin quickly and isn't greasy,nor does it even smell like your typical sunscreen lotion! The scent is more like alight fragranced moisturiser.
All pluses with this one, I really cannot fault this product!A staple I recommend every household should own!
