Hey beauty and fitness lovers! Please share any fitness and health tips that you find effective. Also, if you have any healthy recipes please share them too! A tip this week is to get more sleep at night. It is so important to your health and fitness to get at least 6 hours of sleep. Any less than this amount is dangerous. You really want to get 8 hours of sleep a night. I know it is hard to get 8 hours especially if you have a hard time falling asleep. Life is busy and hectic and finding time to sleep sometimes seems impossible. However, your body will thank you for sleeping more. If you are not getting 8 hours, work up to this amount of sleep. Try and get a little more sleep every week until you are sleeping for 8 hours. You will feel so much more energized, confident, happy, and productive with more sleep. What are some of your favorite tips on falling to sleep? Let me know in the comments below!

falling asleep tips:

  • Wake up earlier in the morning so you are more tired at night
  • Try and go to bed 15 minutes earlier each week (until 8 hours of sleep is achieved)
  • Get some sunshine first thing in the morning (this will set you biological clock in motion)
  • Exercise daily
  • Make your room colder
  • Have a bedtime routine
  • Turn off all electronics and bright lights at least 1 hour (preferably 2 hours) before sleeping
  • Drink chamomile tea
  • Journal and write down your thoughts before sleeping
  • Make sure your room is dark
  • Use essential oils
  • Play calming music or nature sounds until you are sleepy
