1. Will Allen makes a huge difference in the defensive backfield. His tackling ability is very good.
2. Ike Taylor gives a minimal effort I don't see him tackling very well.
3. Huge play by Troy on the blitz (was stuffed, but didn't give up) he then did a 180 and hustled back and was in position actually waiting for the RB to come to him in the hole. Can't say enough about this play. He then tackled the guy and stripped the ball at the same time and recovered the fumble. Heck of a play and a momenturm robbing play. I thought the play of the game as did the NBC guys who just did a complete analysis of the play. Troy also had another fumble punch out and that was a dive where he intentionally wrapped his right hand around the ball carrier (I think it was the QB or maybe the RB) and knocked the ball out. Again a great hustle play.
4. Brown sure is a good WR I just hope he can stay healthly he's not huge and all. Its amazing to me that he is a 6th round Draft pick from Central Michigan. so many other WR's taken before him. I often wonder what happened to him in between college and the pro's I mean how did he get so much faster. His footwork is just amazing.
5. The game is such a game of inches. Hayden almost had that ball knocked out of Browns hands as he landed in the end zone it was so close. We miss that play and the game is totally different. As Ben said postgame in an interview I listened to, the play was supposed to go to Jericho but Ben glanced to his left and noticed that brown had a step on Hayden. I was surprised at how well Brown did against Hayden who held other top WR's to only like 1 or two catches (megatron and AJ Green)
6. I think woodley should stay on the bench and same with Kiesel. Both of these guys don't give the effort that is needed. I think the difference Jason WOrilds has been getting on the pass rushes is amazing and may be along with Will Allen what has made the defense so much better.
7. Ben played well and so did the OL no sacks amazing. I don't know what to make of this. I wonder if its cause Bills, Lions, and Browns don't have great DL but the BIlls as you may know lead the entire NFL I think in Sacks.
8. The Corner blitz by Gay that caused the QB fumble was a thing of beauty. THe zone blitz at its best. Kudos to Dick Lebau on that one wow. If you stlll have the tape go back and watch it. Timmons and I think Troy both drop back to take the place of the two DB that are blitzing and totally confused Jason Campbell.
9. I hope they keep Spaeth on the IR. He's a terrible blocker unless he's suddenly gotten better after his hiatus in Chicago. I don't like the guy. He may be big but he was terrible at blocking before.
