The Pittsburgh Steelers have added long snapper Luke Ingram to their roster with the report of Greg Warren's injury keeping him sidelined about 4 weeks.
It didn't take the Pittsburgh Steelers to sign a long snapper.
After head coach Mike Tomlin announced during his weekly press conference that veteran long snapper Greg Warren tore his meniscus in practice and will miss approximately four weeks, the team signed long snapper Luke Ingram to their roster.

This move made it very clear the team didn't want to rely on tight end Bryce Davis to be the lone long snapper on the roster.
Ingram spent time with the Steelers last preseason and in training camp only to be released and eventually picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars before becoming a free agent at the end of the 2013 season.
Ingram played his college football for Hawaii and is expected to begin practicing immediately and will wear No. 48 for the Steelers. He most likely will participate in the preseason game this Saturday at Heinz Field against the Buffalo Bills and solidify the long snapper position until Warren's return is imminent.
