If you've never heard of this brand called Loacker, my father would be so disappointed in you right now. As a huge fan of Loacker's Quadratini, my house is always well stocked with Loackers products. Hence when Loacker delivered some wafers to my doorstep, I was over the moon. Or more precisely, my father was over the moon. Anyways enough of this fangirlling, time to jump back in to the introduction.
What is Loacker?
Loacker, a reputable wafer and chocolate brand from Italy that dominated the world. With a history of over 92 years, Loacker guarantees the authenticity and organic ingredients in their products. That means no usage of colourings, preservatives, aromas and hydrogenated fats. All natural goodness.

Aside from wafers, Loacker also produce chocolate bars. After trying out some of their premium chocolate bars I got to say I was surprised. I was never a fan of chocolate covered wafers for it often gave me the impression that I've bitten into a hot mess. The chocolate was too thin, the wafer was too soft and there's too many texture and flavors in the bar.
Yet, Loacker chocolate bar have changed my perception. Not only was there adequate amount of chocolate covering the wafer but the wafer underneath was still crispy and firm. On top of that, the flavors of the wafer and the chocolate around it complimented each other. It was a delight to taste such savory products.

Loacker's Cocoa & Milk
Launched less than a year ago, Loacker's new flavor received astonishing awards. One of them would be best 'Product of the Year 2017′ in the 'Biscuit' category. The ability to adapt their products to the demands of the consumers, earned Loacker the award.
In addition to that, the product's combination reflects the innovative nature of Loacker. The crunchy cocoa wafer and distinct light, milk Loacker cream represented pure bliss. This contrast could be tasted in a single bite of Loacker wafer.
With 7% cocoa in the crunchy wafer and 75% light and milky cream between, it is no wonder the wafer tasted heavenly.
Loacker's Cocoa & Milk Taste Test
Loacker's Cocoa & milk wafer and Quadratini were made with layers of chocolate wafers. Used to bound together the layers of chocolate wafers were gooey Loacker milk cream. For the classic wafer, they used 3 pieces of chocolate wafers . Whereas for the Quadratini, bite-sized wafers, they used 5 pieces of wafers. Yes, that means double the goodness in 1 piece of Quadratini!
What's unique about Loacker's wafer biscuits would be how the filling was very creamy. This factor allows the wafers to not only stand out but it also formed their signature flavour. A flavour that keeps their consumers running back for more.
Due to the 7% cocoa in it's wafer, this made the chocolate flavour to be more subtle. This allowed the gooey Loacker milk cream to stand out and compliment the chocolate. Thus, the Loacker milk cream flavour does mimics how a milk chocolate would taste like in the form of a wafer. This would be a joy to those who prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate.

For me, I am more of a dark chocolate lover but, I could never turn down chocolate. At the end of the day, chocolate is still a ladies best friend or should I say anyone's best friend.

The good thing about sticking to the classic is that you get more wafer in one serving. That means more happiness. I do find the experience of the wafer to be more balanced. Thus, leaving you wanting more.
