Soulflower Lavender Aroma Bath Salt Review

By Makeuppedia @shruthi2588

Hello all! Today I am going to review an aroma bath salt from Soulflower. Here is a small info about what bath salts are.The term bath salt refers to a range of water-soluble, usually inorganic solid products designed to be added to a bath. They are said to improve cleaning, improve the experience of bathing, and serve as a vehicle for cosmetic agents. Bath salts have been developed which mimic the properties of natural mineral baths or hot springs. Such salts include:I got a bath salt with lavender aroma, since lavender is famous for relieving stress. Here goes the review.

Soulflower says:  The best way to refresh you after a long tiring day. Simply adding this bath salt to your bath water calms & relaxes one’s mind & promotes a restful, uninterrupted night's sleep. Release pain & inflammation in joints & muscles. If you have a headache, close your eyes put a washcloth soaked in the Lavender Aroma Bath Salt water over your eyes and relax.

Ingredients: Lavender essential oil, Thai herbs, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Borate, Epsom Salts, Seasalts, Permitted Colourings.

Directions to use: Add just 2 capfuls of Lavender Aroma Bath Salt in your warm bath for a well balanced nutrition & moisture for the skin. Or dip a towel in a tub of bath salts & hot water & place over aching muscles.

My experience: This bath salt has a beautiful lavender color which is pleasing to the eyes. It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a black screw cap. Also the aroma is of natural lavender and nothing synthetic. I was waiting for the right opportunity to try this, since it claims to calm down the mind and eases the body and joint pain. Two weeks back, I had to indulge in a lot of physical activity such as running up and down the construction site (no lift :( ) for an inspection and getting approvals (FYI I am a civil engineer) and ended up with back, thigh and joint pain.

I had a good night’s sleep, thinking that all that I need to make my pain vanish was sleep, but I was wrong! Next morning I had the same intensity of pain. So I took this bottle with me into the shower, added two caps full of salt into a bucket of hot water and stirred with my hands. The water turned into a beautiful shade of lavender and I as usual I had bath with that water.

The experience was really very relaxing. After shower nothing magical happened, but my body was good enough to get ready to office. I haven’t tried this for headache though. So can’t comment on that. But for a soothing, calming and relaxing bath experience, this is awesome!
  Price : Rs.350 for 400 gms
The good:1.   Looks pleasant.2.   Smells of natural lavender. 3.   Gets quickly dissolved in water.4.   Relaxes every muscle and joints while bathing.5.   Also lessens internal body pain (nothing phenomenal, but eases the pain a bit)6.   Can also be used as a foot soak for DIY pedicure.7.   Huge bottle which lasts for 2 months if used once every week.
The not so good:1.   Available only through online websites.I could not find any other cons.
Final word: I rate this 4.8/5. It is a good way to combat stress!
