Sorry for Your Loss! Parents Angered After MCA Sends Condolence Cards to KCPE Candidates

Students from Bogeche Primary School were surprised after they received a card with a condolence message instead of best wishes from their MCA on Monday before the exams kicked off.Ichuni Ward MCA, Gekonge Mirieri had to apologize for a rather eye-popping mistake after he sent the cards which had a sad message instead of an uplifting one.“We are deeply sorry for the loss. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with your family during this difficult times.” read the card.

A teach noticed the mistake while reading out loud for the students before they started their exam, and later shared that it was delivered by a villager on Monday.The MCA, however, claims his political enemies switched the cards to make him look bad.“I couldn’t do that my friend, that is the work of people, some of them former competitors,” Mr Mireri told the Nation by phone.
