Due to an unusual chain of weather delays, we are still waiting for Hyundai Tournament of Champions to wrap up and crown its champion.  As players complete the final round today, on a nearby Hawaiian Island, other PGA Tour players are preparing for the Sony Open.  Fortunately for players who plan to compete in both events, the two courses are only a short flight apart.  Also fortunate for players, the extreme wind conditions we saw in Maui over the weekend, are not expected to be a factor at Waialea Country Club, according to the current weather forecast.
Reviewing the field, as with all PGA Tour events, the number of talented players is phenomenal which makes it a challenge to narrow it down and essentially predict a tournament victor.  I've based my top three picks on players who also competed and overcame the challenges mother nature presented at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions; my fourth pick, some may consider a bit of a wild card, but I think he has greatness within him...
Keegan Bradley (@keegan_bradley): Keegan showed some impressive play in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, and left no doubt in my mind that he is ready and rearing for the 2013 PGA Tour season.  I'm looking forward to seeing what he has in store this week under calmer weather conditions.
Webb Simpson (@webbsimpson1):  Webb also played well in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, and as with Keegan, I think it will have prepared him nicely for even better golf in the days to come at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
Ryan Moore:  As one of my top picks for the entire 2013 PGA Season, I expect Ryan to continue to climb the world ranking list.  After the challenging weather conditions all players faced in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions, I think Ryan will be ready to step up his game under more preferable playing conditions expected in the days ahead.
Graham DeLeat (@GrahamDeLeat):  I really enjoyed watching Graham throughout the 2012 season, and looking at the year ahead, he's my favorite amongst Canadian players.  I hope he's able to start 2013 off with a bang and have a great showing at this weeks Sony Open.
Here's a look at my complete Fantasy picks:
