1.) I started by priming my eyes with Urban Decay's Primer Potion. This is the only non-drugstore product I used. e.l.f also makes some pretty good eyeshadow primers.
2.) Using Wet n Wild's Au Naturel Palette in Nude Awakening, I applied the lightest shade all over my eye as a base. Then I combined the matte wine shade with the matte tan and blended it into the crease. Using a flat eyeshadow brush, I patted the shimmery rose gold onto the lid.
3.) To prime my skin, I used Hard Candy's new Sheer Envy Hydrating Primer Mist.
4.) While waiting for the primer to dry a little bit, I filled in my brows using Wet n Wild's Universal Brow Kit and and Brow Mascara.
5.) For my foundation, I used e.l.f's Acne Fighting Foundation and I applied it using the Real Techniques makeup sponge.
6.) I applied the new Wet n Wild Highlighting and Concealing Pen in Illumi-Naughty under my eyes, along the sides of my nose, on my chin, and forehead.
7.) After blending the concealer, I used the matte wine eyeshadow along my lower lash line.
8.) To contour, I used e.l.f's contour palette. I actually used the darkest shade and it worked really well for me.
9.) I have been using Wet n Wild's reformulated blushes non stop. Especially Rose Champagne, which I used today.
10.) To highlight my cheek bones and nose, I used Wet n Wild's Illuminating Palette. I used a combination of the two lightest shades.
11.) I tried out Wet n Wild's Lash-O-Matic Extension Kit on my lashes to add extra volume without dealing with false lashes.
!2.) Last but not least, I applied e.l.f's Moisturizing Lipstick in Ravishing Rose.
What are your Valentine's Day plans? I will be staying in and catching up on blog posts. And drinking a lot of coffee, I'm sure.
See you soon!
