Slow Cooker Sunday: Dr. Pepper Ribs

By Veronica46

These Dr Pepper ribs are so tasty you will want to make them every week. I love using my slow cooker. It is wonderful in the winter when you are cooking and need extra cook space. It is also great in the summer when you do not want to heat up your house. Mostly though it it so easy to use. I try to make one slow cooker meal a week.

Sometimes they are so good you almost want to make the meals more than once a week. To be honest, I could eat ribs everyday. But if I want to stay healthy eating ribs everyday will definitely put the pounds on. This rib recipe is perfect for summer, or when you long for summer in the cold of winter.

If you have a slow cooker like mine, I like to put the insert under the broiler to give a little color to my ribs. You could use baby back ribs, or other types that have the bone in. I had country style on hand so that is what I used.
