Shameless Sunday’s

Jennifer’s fabulous outfits are having to share the stage with none other than the adorable Jessica Sanchez. Each episode, both of these ladies up their game with a more fabulous outfit than the last, and I am always left a little bit  100% jealous of their amazing looks. Stylist or not, I don’t care, they both look amazing. Obviously it isn’t much of a face-off… mainly because Jennifer always wins. Yet regardless, I love the budding fashion icon I see in Miss Sanchez.

Jessica Sanchez for the WIN! Not only cause she is fabulously fashionable, has an amazing voice, and is from San Diego…. actually that is exactly why I want her to take this one. Yet I am slightly obsessed with Phillip Phillips…

Do you watch AI? Who do you want to win??

Herve, Michael Kors, Catherine Malandrino, Lanvin… oh my.

Love when she brings out her inner diva with that curly hair…. the second outfit from the left was my absolute FAVORITE!! That necklace is to die for.

(obsessed with my new sweater that my Mom got me. I don’t ever want to take it off)

OMG! My legs are so pale & I am terribly sorry. It is not my fault, I planned to lay out this weekend because I heard it was going to be warm… and it wasn’t. Dammit. Those white gams are getting old, I am in dire need of some serious sun. Anyways, Saturday afternoon began with a few innocent beers and snacks in the afternoon, and ended in some serious shenanigans. Happy Birthday to my girl Erin (aka White Chocolate), hope you had a blast!! I know I did…

Beautiful handmade jewelry always catches my eye. This jade hand-piece was especially stunning.

After I heard Tupac was resurrected at Coachella, I was really heart broken I wasn’t there to see it. My roomie helped curb my depression with a left over Coachella goody bag. It helped. YOLO… or…. YOLT?

When I did my sparkly key DIY at the start of the week, I was happy to get some weight of my key chain. It didn’t last long. My mom brought me a lavender pepper spray and insisted it go with my keys. Oh well, atleast I am ready.

Loving my new Bijoux bracelet from Bottica, especially paired with my braided wetsuit bracelet & new navy and rose gold Michael Kors watch.

Lastly, I was pretty happy when I saw the fabulous Olivia Palermo was following me on Pinterest. I will be even more happy if you follow me too!

Online shopping is a minor addiction of mine, one that I am constantly trying to avoid succumbing to. The other day I was doing just that, when I came across this adorable cropped, tie-dye, shoulderless top. I was going to purchase it considering it was only $11.80 from Forever 21, but I figured it’d be more fun to recreate it. I love projects, and since I had majority of the supplies on hand, it cost me nothing. This project was super easy & pretty fun… I mean who doesn’t love the nostalgia that comes with tie-dying? The only issue, my hands are dyed a bit yellow, so it kind of looks like I have jaundice. Hoping it washes off sooner rather than later. Not a good look for me.

Here is how it is done…  More

Nothing much to say here other than I am so so incredibly sleepy, so much so I am near dozing right this very minute. I have been working like crazy, and am in dire need of some serious r&r. I did get the chance to get out for some cocktails… which was most definitely needed, but not quite enough for me. I am planning to spend this weekend maxin’ & relaxin’… rumor has it is gonna be incredibly warm.

Life, in my opinion, is all about the little details. Being a lover of fashion, I really don’t let any part of my life skate by without a bit of fashion flair. I always get confused with my keys regarding which one opens which door (I am sure many of you can understand), and I was getting real sick of my trendy Urban Outfitters key caps. I had to find an alternate and creative solution. Pinterest always inspires a variety of projects for me, including these adorable sparkly key’s. This was my first time messing around with Mod Podge, and I think it is safe to say I am obsessed. Expect a lot more glitter in the future of Fashionlushxx. Too easy not too love.

As I lay here, winding down from a fun filled weekend, I am just thinking of how lucky I am to have so many great people in my life. Just saying. My roommates from college decided to road trip it down to San Diego from Los Angeles, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. While my current roommates were heading to the desert for Coachella, I was planning to spend my weekend at Couchella… located in my living room. That was until my fave ladies gave me a ring and told me they were in route! We had some great laughs, caught up on our lives, and enjoyed being together again. It is funny, there are those friends that no matter where you go in life or what you do, they will always be there & you can pick up just where you left off. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend as well & are already enjoying another beautiful day.

Love love love my new tangerine crochet lace shorts!! Tangerine is in for summer .

Lovely ladies enjoying the sunny day!

Mama bear made an appearance, looking as beautiful as always!!

These are the faces of pure joy, cruising down the coast.

New chevron print iPad case! Maybe now I will stop getting my iPad confused with my roomies obsessed!

Sticking with chevron trend, here are my nails of the week! Check out how to make your very own chevron nail decals here!

Did I mention I am now blogging for Julep? They have some of the most FABULOUS polishes, and decided to send me just a few .

Sweet girl hiding from the light… always napping.

Being a fashion blogger, there is only ONE accessory that I always have with me, and that is my camera. The only problem, it wasn’t much of an accessory with it’s hideous canvas strap. Years ago I added studs to the strap of my vintage Nikon, and have been looking for something similar for my latest camera. I have been seeing some adorable chain camera straps (see above) that I have really been coveting, so I figured I would just make my own. It was super easy, the hardest part actually ended up being finding the chain, as it MUST be a soldered!

As I was perusing my local Home Depot for chalkboard paint (for the DIY framed chalkboard I recently did), I ended up stuck in the plumbing aisle. No I was not fixing a toilet (ew!), I was actually busy being inspired. I loved the rose gold metal pieces, and thought it’d be a great hair accessory! I have been seeing metal hair-ties all over the blogosphere, and was dying to get my hands on one. For a mere 3 bucks I got my very own fashionable metal hair-tie & I love it! I literally got stopped atleast 3 times asking about it, everyone laughed when I told them it was from Home Depot…. even though I know they were there as soon as they were off the clock.
