Serums For Sensitive Skin

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl

When my skin has been playing up I like to take a gentle approach to it and strip back my skincare routine. Using products that will treat the problem but also that are gentle and soothing.
Two products I have been using lately are both serums which are suitable for sensitive skin. The first one is Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum*. (£28.50 Trilogy products) This is a very light weight serum that absorbs into the skin easily. It has SyriCalm, calendula and green tea in it which help sooth the skin and keep it hydrated.
I find this is great for balancing out my skin and reducing any redness I have. It is fragrance and essential oil free which I think is great for sensitive skins. I do find it has a weird 'no scent' smell to it though if you know what I mean.
The second serum is the S5 Skincare Calm Serum (£10-£44 BeautyBay) which is brand I was introduced to fairly recently. It is made up of 99.6% natural ingredients and is certificated organic. It is infused with Marine Bioactives which help reduce the redness of the skin. There is also ingredients like Sea Fennel Peptides, Desert Glycoproteins and Sea Mayweed which help to increase hydration and reduce irritation.
This is a lovely product for soothing the skin, the texture is light and sinks in well. A perfect product to calm your skin when its acting up.
The S5 Calm Serum is free from Parabens, mineral oil, silicones, propylene glycol and synthetic fragrance so you know you are only putting good things onto your skin.
I really rate both of these products, they are great when my skin is feeling sore or if I have spent too long in the sun. If you have sensitive skin I would highly recommend them.
What are you go to products for when your skin is sensitive?
