Serum No. 5 - Swatches & Review

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi everyone!!
I have some swatches of Serum No. 5 polishes to share with you today!  This is a brand I've been meaning to try for a long time, so I'm glad to finally have an opportunity.
Rise and Grind

Rise and Grind is described as micro gold and brass glitter and milky white squares in a busy espresso world.  It applied really well and required three coats for full opacity.  Above, I used no top coat.  The two pics below are topped with Nubar Diamont.

Best Witches

Best Witches is described as a bewitching glitter mix in a dark gray base.  This also applied really well.  It required three coats for full opacity.  I used no top coat for these swatches.

Pretty In Blue

Pretty In Blue is a clear base with blue and fuchsia glitters.  I decided to layer two coats over China Glaze Electric Beat.  It's a super pretty glitter!

A Cup of Teal

A Cup of Teal is described as a dusty teal holo.  It applies like butter and is opaque in two easy coats.  I used no top coat for these swatches.

As A Matte'A Fact

As A Matte'A Fact is a sparkly matte top coat.  I decided to share it on it's own so you could see the beauty of it.  I used three coats on its own.

Artificial Light

I then layered one coat over GOSH Blissful.

As you can see, it dries to a satin finish.  It's a really pretty topper!
Fame

Fame is a clear base with "sparkle and holo".  I decided to wear it on its own though it would be a great topper.  I applied three coats on its own with no top coat.  It has a really good formula.

I was very happy with these polishes.  They're all really unique and have really good formulas.  My personal favorites are Best Witches, Pretty In Blue and A Cup of Teal.
