Hey chicas! Have you heard of serum foundations?
Serum foundations are kinda like tinted moisturizers but better. Unlike traditional foundations, serum foundations have ultra fluid consistency which makes them super easy to spread and therefore gives off a very light-weight feel on the skin. Also, they're packed with nutrients-filled ingredients that will give your skin extra doses of TLCs.
As for coverage, they are buildable but they're really meant to impart a no-make up or flawless bare skin effect.
I only know a few brands that has serum foundation on their product line. There's Josie Maran, Perricone, Yves Rocher, etc., but, what I want to try are the ones from Dior, YSL and Bare Escentuals.
From fair to dark complexions, Youth Liberator Serum Foundation corrects, unifies and evens all skin tones for an instantly younger appearance.
Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Clinically proven tone-correcting mineral foundation and brightening serum in one. Created with exceptional purity in mind, this ultra-thin, skin-perfecting fluid provides seamless adjustable coverage, a natural finish and the look and feel of beautiful skin while delivering a noticeably brighter, more youthful appearance. I can't wait to try them!!!! Among the 3 brands, it's Dior that I can get easily get hold of. But, as per one of the SAs, Dior Nude Air will not be launched for another 2 weeks so let's see...I will keep you updated.
