Sephora Collection Izak Satin Kiss Twin Lipstick~Coquette~

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Sephora has some new cosmetics, brushes and bags designed by French artist Izak Zenou.  I picked up this lipstick duo and the eyshadow palette.  I have never been a fan of Sephora's line of cosmetics, so I did not expect much out of this.  But I was pleasantly surprised.
This consists of two mini-lipsticks in a larger container.  You have to push on one end of the product to get the color from the other side to come out and vice versa. I picked up Coquette, which has the perfect nude shade for my fair skin.  The other color is almost a brick red shade, but not quite as dark.  I did not expect these to be as soft and creamy as they are.  They are very smooth and actually feel good on my lips.  They did not accentuate any dryness.  They are very pigmented and color shows up with just one swipe.  The only downside to the creaminess is that the lasting power is not fantastic.  I would say I got around 4 hours of wear.  But I will take that since I hate drying lipsticks, and the vast majority have that effect on me.  The only downside to that is if you use this product all the time, you may run out fairly quickly since the tubes are small.  There is no odd fragrance, so scent will not be an issue.
The packaging is really cute, but I can see where some people may not like it.  The outside container is larger than a regular lipstick tube.  It has the classic black and white Sephora stripes with sketches of two women applying makeup.  Cute, but a bit bulky.  However, it would be great to carry for a day to night look since you have a neutral shade for day and a red shade for night.
The price is $15.00, which may be a bit overpriced.  And if you love long lasting lipsticks, it would be more so.  I can deal with the price since I have finally found a nude shade that looks good on me.  I plan on trying the other shades available, too.  My overall rating would be a 4.5/5 because a lipstick that lasts all day is not important for me.  I am more interested in a lipstick that is non-drying and non-irritating.
The notebook in the background is also designed by Izak.  I found it a few months ago at Target and thought it was cute.  Of course I had to have the cosmetics to match :) I am hoping to also pick up one of the cosmetic bags.
