Job Role:
To provide support to a GIS Department at client facilities, Work involves in updating the Electric asset data such as Devices, Conductors and Station objects and integrate these into the corresponding Final Destination GIS database in ArcFM.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing Database Update using Customize Tool.
- Support to Client in Installing and Executing the tools developed for every station and updating the data automatically through tool (Training would be provided).
- Perform thorough validation with available inputs of Station assets after updating from tool with input supplied by the client.
- Perform Quality Control activities & Validation checks on updated records and maintain log file for client review.
- Validating and Updating data from different formats with the client provided field inputs after resolving the Queries.
- Status Tracking and Log Maintenance of Feeders and Stations.
- Performing validation of the business rules (Training would be provided).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Thorough Knowledge & Experience on ArcGIS/ArcFM Applications.
- Having Electrical Knowledge on different type of Utility projects.
- Tracing of Feeders is an added advantage.
- ArcFM Version Management
- Good professional Verbal and Written communication skills.
Qualifications :
- Candidate should possess a Diploma/BTech Electrical (Preferred) or Technical Training in the past for relevant experience.
- Candidate should be residing in Canada and should have valid work permit.
