I have to apologize for taking a short blogging hiatus due to work commitments and I was away from home for a few days.
Didn’t have enough sleep so all I did was to catch up on sleep once I’m back home. And then, there’s celebration going on at my work place so I was kept busy and occupied till now!
Now I finally have a short break from work! Pheww…..
So I decided that I would give myself some love pampering session this holiday. All girls have to pamper themselves from time to time isn’t it?
My first stop was to head for some scalp treatment at Origin Luxe. Honestly, I have thought of having some scalp treatment due to my dandruff issue but I really don’t know where to head to or which place can I trust. I have not much trust in salon as I feel like they couldn’t give me a proper analysis of my scalp and they are always criticizing my scalp and my hair. Dude, I know my condition, you don’t have to keep stabbing on my wound.
May served me for the day. She’s nice, friendly and patient and the first thing she did was to ask about my scalp’s concern and then did a detailed scalp analysis for me. Apparently my scalp’s pores are congested with some oil build up and also dandruff. Dandruff has been a problem for me since many years ago. I didn’t pay much attention to it as I was a poor student with no extra money to spend.
She told me stress and late night sleeping are the causes for dandruff. Daily cleansing is extremely important in my case. May was very helpful and answered all of my questions.
I was then brought to my comfy spacious seat. Each seat has two curtains at the side for you to enjoy a more private session. You know sometimes it’s annoying to have people at the side peeping at you and your unglam hair. hahaha.
At Origin Luxe, they use premium chinese and indian herbs that are carefully brewed brewed for two hours to allow thorough extraction of essence and nutrients. The herbs include Ginseng, He Shou Wu, Dang Gui. The treatment masks are then immediately packed into individual sachets to ensure freshness and avoid contamination. Upon customer’s arrival, the herbal mask is heated up to further prevent contamination.

Hair steaming goes on for 30 mins.
The therapists there always make sure that the steam wasn’t too warm for me.
And then I also had some head and shoulder massage which was really relaxing for me.
I almost fell asleep.
These little red lights are infra heat therapy. Using infra heat therapy to enhance the absorption of our hair treatment into the scalp, this ensures maximum effectiveness.
Can tell that I am enjoying my treatment right? =D
What I love about Origin Luxe is that they do not criticize the customers.
I don’t hear comments such as “why your hair so dry?” “Do you know you are dropping hair?”
“You have too much dandruff!” So this is definitely a plus point!!
The min I went home, my sis looked at me and said “wahhh hair so smooth ar!”
Really, my scalp feels so clean and head feels light with the massage. I didn’t expect my hair to feel and look smooth too!
So this was a surprise!
