REVIEW ON AVEDA DAMAGE REMEDY MASK!
If this is not in your bathroom you need to go and get it!
I first brought this mask sometime in 2011 as my hair dresser told me my hair was breaking! (I went straight into Panic mode)! I went straight out and brought some decent shampoo and condtioner (As I can partly blame the cheap £1.00 shampoo I had been using as a student) and purchased this HAIR CARE WONDER!
WHAT IS IT?
AVEDA DAMAGE REMEDY TREATMENT:
It is an intense hair care treatment which is designed to repair damaged hair. It uses pure plant oils, Castor, Jojoba, meadowfoam seed oils, and quinoa protein. It is a weekly treatment which is left on for 2-5 minutes after washing, and is recommended to be used as part of a three step resturcturing programme. Aveda says it is ideal for chemically treated hair, as well as hair that is damaged from the environment or heat. From most Aveda Salons it retails at £23.50 for a 125ml container.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT?
I like it because it works, (To be blunt). I would usually leave it on for longer than 5 minutes, if I had time I would leave it on over night and wash it of in the morning. The smell is unbeliveavle, Aveda products have THE BEST SCENT, they are very natural and aromatic, and you can smell them in your hair days after.
I used this product religously for about a year or two after my hair drama, and after moving hair dressers (Because of pricing) just under a year ago, I have been told my hair is in good condition again, (Which is a relief, as I do straighten and bleach it).
WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT?
To be honest the only negatives I can find on this product is the size as I never want it to end, and the price because I could afford more of it if it was cheaper.
I am currently trying out OSMO’s Restorative Hair Mask which contains Argon Oil, (Review to follow). However when I went home for Mothers day, I couldnt resist pinching some of my mums. (Hence why the picture is different to my normal setting).
