Sathya movie review:

Kollywood has recently turned to a thriller chaser. A bunch of thrillers have hit the theatres and most of them succeeded. Sathya is another addition to it. What works in Sathya is its brilliant story line and equally apt Sibiraj.

Sathya is a remake of the Telugu movie Kshanam. Though it's a remake Sathya has its uniqueness. One of it is the cast performance. The movie is tailor-made for Sibiraj. He is choosy when selecting characters, especially in recent times. Sathya is one of the bests he has opted for. Starting from his appearance to expressions Sibi has lived as Sathya.

Varalakshmi and Remya Nambeesan girlfriend have justified their roles to perfection. Anandhraj and Yogi Babu adds grace and fun to their characters respectively. Satheesh has utilized his role and delivered what is needed from him. On the whole the cast has lifted the story one extra fold.

Simon K.King's background works great. His music adds the much needed thrill to the movie. The songs especially "Yuvvana" proves his worth. Cinematographer Arunmani's work is stylish.

Adivi Sesh's story and his screenplay with the director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy is crisp. The story is engaging throughout the whole 2 hours of the movie. Unlike other thrillers even the romance portion doesn't derail the screenplay.

Except a little drag towards the end, Sathya is a wonderful attempt. A must watch for its intriguing story and Sibi's performance.
