The destination, which in December, January and February still pampers us with temperatures, is, among others, Egypt. The average daily temperatures in this month reach 24 ° C, and the water temperature is around 20 ° C. Maldives will welcome us even hotter, where average daily temperatures reach 30 ° C and water temperature - up to 28 ° C! The winter months in the Maldives are also those with the most hours of sunshine. The Arab Emirates, hot Thailand and, of course, all African countries are still warm.
Slightly cooler countries are Turkey (temperatures around 17 ° C), Morocco, Malta, Tunisia, Tenerife and Cyprus (temperatures around 20 ° C), while in Greece and Croatia (temperatures slightly higher than Polish) we are unlikely to experience warmer weather. However, if we focus on sightseeing and active leisure, these countries can still surprise us with many attractions, and less crowding and lower prices than in the season. Therefore, December, January and February are great months for holidays with friends or with family.
What attractions does Jamaica offer us?
Jamaica is like a tourist magnesium - every year it attracts crowds of tourists from around the world. We will not experience cooler seasons here, and the average annual temperature is as much as 27 ° C! When Christopher Columbus discovered this amazing island, he called it "the most beautiful human eyes saw".
Jamaica is primarily a tourist paradise. The climate itself and the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea encourage us to relax here. Luxury hotels, a unique atmosphere and lively resorts are the face of a paradise island. One of the most charming places of Jamaica is the Blue Lagoon. We find here comfortable hotels and multi-star restaurants, as well as wildlife and crystal clear emerald lakes. It is also worth visiting the capital - Kingston. It is the country's most important airport and seaport. Here we not only relax on the beach, but also visit the Bob Marley museum, Hope Botanical Gardens and Fort Charles, located 20 km from the city. Other recommendable destinations are Falmouth, Negril and Montego Bay - they combine colonial, historic buildings, sandy beaches and the opportunity to go unforgettable, caribbean cruise. Jamaica will surely give us an unforgettable experience and a great holiday!
How to prepare for a round trip?
When going on a round trip, we should think ahead and not limit the size of our luggage. It is not worth giving up everyday objects for the convenience of carrying and a light suitcase - they can be much more useful during a round trip than during a typical resort stay.
Round trips are probably the most intensive option of all leisure options. They are based primarily on sightseeing, and the beach holiday usually closes in a few days. So let's think about the right, comfortable footwear and well-chosen clothes. We should not forget about the rain jacket, sunglasses and folding umbrella. Headwear will also be useful. In the suitcase we should find hygiene products and a small first aid kit with powders for headache and patches, as well as a beautician with all necessary care products (do not forget about the cream with the filter). Be sure to bring towels, maps (if you want to explore the towns on your own), as well as something that will take our time in the event of a long journey or stopover - a book or tablet.
Where to go in October?
Regardless of whether you can only take a holiday from work now or whether you have consciously decided to go in the fall, holidays in October are a great idea. Resorts are not crowded in low season, the weather is still good, and local attractions are still rich tourist and recreational offer. Where to go in October?
In autumn, holiday prices are much lower than in the high season. That's why it's worth going to resorts and cities that are the most expensive in the summer. If we care about high temperatures, it is worth choosing Egypt and Tunisia. A little colder, but still above 20 degrees Celsius, we will be in the Canary Islands. Relaxation conditions do not differ from those prevailing here in summer, and the lower number of tourists and much lower prices of stay make autumn vacation a really great choice.
Italy is another popular destination in autumn, especially Tuscany, whose atmosphere will make us forget about the autumn, gray and rainy climate prevailing in Poland. The sights of Florence and Pisa are at this time much less besieged by tourists, so a walk through the old streets of the cities will be pure pleasure. In autumn, we will also be delighted by Provence, Spain and hot Barcelona. This last destination is teeming with life throughout the year, so we will not lose anything by deciding to go on October.
Traveling with a child - how to prepare for it?
Holidays with a child bring a completely different preparation than traveling only among adults. The toddler has different needs, so we must take care that the trip together is an unforgettable adventure for him. How to prepare for travel with a child?
Much depends on the mode of transport we will travel on. The most convenient option is flight by plane - it takes the shortest of all possible travel options, a toilet is available on board and meals are issued. The disadvantages of such a journey are the fairly high price of air flights and the lack of stops - if we go to a distant resort, the journey can take several hours, which for a small child can be extremely tiring. Take such a trip with your child's favorite books, coloring books or tablet, on which the toddler will be able to watch movies.
It can also be convenient to travel by car - it has its advantages, but unfortunately the disadvantages in relation to flights. Traveling by car can be much longer, but it is cheaper, you can also arrange a stop at any time. When going on vacation with your own vehicle, we also have the opportunity to pack more items, and so often you can take your child's favorite toys - this option will not be available in the case of flights, where the luggage must have a specific weight.

What are the most famous Asian dishes?
Traveling around each continent we can come across unique flavors and products specific to a given region. Often these are unusual combinations or completely new plants or types of spices. What are the most famous Asian dishes?
Asian cuisine is primarily dishes from China, Vietnam and Japan. Characteristic for this cuisine are primarily seafood, poultry, vegetables and fruits, as well as soybean and sesame oil - that is, only healthy products that make the inhabitants of Japan or China rarely struggle with overweight or heart disease.
What is worth trying while visiting Asia? China's most popular dishes are pork in five flavors, Chinese dim sum dumplings in various versions, wonton soup or sesame noodles with vegetables. In India, we should reach for aromatic chicken or turkey curry, simple naan bread and, recently popular also in Poland, hummus. Japanese cuisine is primarily known to everyone sushi, Japanese beef and teriyaki chicken. Vietnamese dishes will also delight our palate - spring rolls and shrimp soup are extremely healthy and very tasty. It is also worth trying Thai delicacies, such as coconut soup, Thai curry or jasmine rice with the addition of vegetables or seafood.
To Croatia by car or plane?
When deciding on a vacation in Croatia, it is worth thinking carefully about the means of transport that we will get to this country. There are several options, with car and airplane departing the most popular. Both types of travel have their supporters.
Departure by plane is certainly more convenient, because we get on board and do not worry about anything. The disadvantage of this solution is the price, because air travel for several people can be a considerable expense. In addition, traveling in this way, we are dependent on the means of transport that are waiting for us in Croatia. And those, such as rented cars, also cost. It is also worth remembering that from Poland to Croatia, e.g. Zagreb or Dubrovnik, can only be reached with a stopover. Of course, the solution is charter flights, but we do not always want to use the services of travel agencies guaranteeing this type of transport, in addition charter flights are not always available.
Traveling by car to Croatia also has its pros and cons. The disadvantage is the duration of the trip, which - depending on the place of departure in Poland - can take up to 2 days.
The advantage is definitely more than disadvantages. First of all, you can set your own travel schedule. A trip with several people, at least one of whom has a driving license, should not be too difficult either, because you can change behind the wheel. Croatia is also well connected. You can get to it through Germany, Austria and Slovenia as well as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. It is also worth remembering that with our own car we have much more freedom in choosing places for a vacation, besides, the journey itself can also be fascinating - the roads are in good or excellent condition, and the passing countries and cities are as interesting as Croatia itself. After all, nothing prevents you from visiting Vienna, Budapest or spending some time in peaceful Slovenia. And being in Croatia, you can use the Adriatic Bus, which runs from Rijeka to beyond Dubrovnik. Beautiful views guaranteed.
Therefore, if you intend to spend your vacation in Croatia, we offer car transport. As a result, the trip itself has a chance to become a wonderful holiday adventure.
10 places you must see in Croatia
Choosing just 10 places that are worth seeing in Croatia is very difficult. Croatia is a beautiful country with an interesting, sometimes painful history, warm climate and very interesting terrain. This combination had to bring spectacular results. And it actually brought.
They can be observed, for example, in Dubrovnik, also known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic". The city is located along the Adriatic coast, has medieval defensive walls and the old town fully inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is a real flagship of Croatia, as anyone who visits Dubrovnik will find out. Near Dubrovnik is Makarska - a small town where we are unlikely to see too many monuments, but we will see what Croatia is most famous for - great views. In this case, they are white peaks of the Biokovo range reflected in the azure surface of the Adriatic.
A very spectacular city is Rovinj - a town located in Istria, on a small peninsula, whose buildings lie directly above the water, like in Venice. Great views and well-maintained buildings make it not without reason that Rovinj called the Croatian Saint-Tropez. When we're in Istria, let's not forget to visit Pula - a city famous for its magnificent Roman amphitheater, one of the best-preserved buildings of this type in the world.
In turn, in Split, which is much closer to Dubrovnik than to Istria, we will come across the ruins of the huge Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, which, among others form today's old town. In Split, the Cathedral of St. Duji, probably the oldest building of this type in the world, was built on the plan of Diocletian's mausoleum, which was originally part of the Palace. Near Split lies Trogir, founded in ancient times by Greek settlers. The Old Town of Trogir, like the Diocletian's Palace, is also inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Writing about Croatia, it is impossible not to mention the islands there. And there are over a thousand of them. Of course, not all of them are inhabited, but of those inhabited it is worth visiting Hvar, Korčula and Mljet. Hvar is probably the most beautiful Adriatic island and one of the most beautiful in the world, where the wonderful, warm climate of lush vegetation, clean water and excellent tourist infrastructure have created a truly explosive mix. Korčula is not as popular as Hvar, but equally charming, especially for active holidays. In addition, Korčula is famous for its excellent wine and well-preserved monuments, and by experts it is called "Little Dubrovnik". In turn, on Mljet we will quiet down, visiting the local National Park.
The last place we will mention to you is the Plitvice Lakes National Park, located near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The park's biggest attraction is a complex of several karst lakes, which are connected by over 90 waterfalls. It is easy to guess that it is best to go there in the autumn, when the extremely clean, crystalline waters of the lakes blend in perfectly with the cornucopia of autumn colors from the surrounding forests.
Of course, the above list is purely illustrative. Croatia is such an amazing place that you will surely find there your own favorite place, not included in our ranking.
Water sports in Croatia
Croatia is famous for its beautiful coast and great conditions for all kinds of water sports. Calm, sheltered coves are adjacent to open water areas, which will certainly benefit more advanced water sports enthusiasts.
Motorboat sports or those for which it is necessary to use a motorboat come to the fore. In larger centers we will take advantage of the wide range of water scooters, from the simplest to the most advanced, of course only if we have the appropriate permits. People who just like to have fun, can go water skiing, as well as on several-person, rubber, air-filled bananas. Parachute flights on a rope attached to a sailing motorboat are also possible - great views combined with plenty of adrenaline in the veins are what many people like the most.
Of course, in Croatia there will be no problems with renting a yacht, as long as we have a relevant patent. More extreme sports, such as windsurfing or kitesurfing, are also very popular in Croatia, which you will see if you get to any of the major tourist resorts. For someone who prefers calmer forms of recreation by the water, there is the possibility of taking cruises or kayaks or pedal boats that are waiting for tourists in Croatian rental companies.
Speaking of Croatia, you can't fail to mention diving. The Adriatic is a warm, relatively calm and clean sea, especially its Croatian part. Diving in it is a pleasure, but you can do it with both a tank, a mask and a pipe. If you have the appropriate certificates, then do not hesitate and take advantage of the safe and clean waters, which are full of underwater life, great views and waiting for exploration shipwrecks and caves. If you do not have these certificates, then you can take advantage of the offer of Croatian diving schools, which are full on the coast, get a certificate and fully enjoy the rest in this wonderful country.
