My Take on Revlon Nail Art Moon Candy in Galactic

  • Packaging:The Revlon nail art moon candy comes in a cylindrical bottle with one end having the plain cream nail polish and other half having iridescent flakes or glitters in clear base.
  • Shade:Galactic is a duo with gorgeous dark blue (almost black) basecoat with beautiful deep blue, aqua blue and green flakes (topcoat). It looks absolutely gorgeous under different lights. :L

  • Coverage:I was bowled by the coverage the creme dark blue polish, just one coat was enough to give opaque coverage and smooth finish. I wasn't that happy with the glitter end, it did apply easily and I didn't have to fish for the flakes but the finish was quite gritty but one top coat solved the problem and smoothed the glitters.
  • Longevity:It easily stays on my nails for a week without any chipping or fading
The brushes at both end are quite good and helps in even application. The plain dark blue has a glossy finish to it. Dries fast and doesn't streak. Many had complained about yellow stained nails after using this, I was surprised I didn't get any staining at all but obviously I had used my trusted Sally Hansen base coat. :kitten
