Revlon Colour Stay Foundation.I have this is shade 110, which is ivory, and it is for Normal/Dry skin. To start the color is amazing. High street (drugstore) foundations often lack in a good range of colours. Sometimes you do get a good range of colours and they match really well, but that is often only in a range specifically made for color matches. This product has amazing colouring; it matches my pale skin almost exactly. I have this for normal/dry skin I didn’t really expect this to make much of a difference but I believe that the formula is quite different from foundation for oily skin. When I first got it I poured some onto my hand, and the only thing that came out was slightly tinted oil. This put me off and I didn’t use it for a few months. When I finally got round to using it again I gave it a good shake before I used it. This made a world of difference and made the formula perfect. If you have dry skin I really think this would work for you as the oily layer moisturises the skin and when you take your make up off at the end of the day it feels really soft. I really like this factor as foundations that are marketed for long wear usually dry out the skin. The foundation does last quite a long time, but it does need a powder to mattify it. It says it lasts for up to 16 hours, I never actually wear any make up for that long but it does last as long as I need it.
It is very heavy coverage. It says it has a lightweight feel, which I disagree with as it does feel heavy on the skin and you can definitely feel it. Another little problem I have with it is the fact that it just has an open top. I just hate this, it makes it difficult to get the exact amount you want without wasting it.Overall it is a very good foundation, I strongly recommend this for people who have dry skin but have been too scared to try long wear foundations before.See you soon.p.s I just noticed it has SPF 15 :D
