Ok, so I know this is completely off topic, but at the moment I have exams coming up. So I thought it would be a good idea too share with you all the best advice I have been given on revision.· Get organised! If I am sat in a room full of mess, and my books are everywhere and I don't have a real plan, I just can't do anything. So this could mean making a timetable for every single day. Or just tidying your workspace. I like to get all my resources I will be using out so I don't waste time looking for them. I also like to just get all of my books out and put them in the order I want to revise, so again I don't waste time thinking about what I need to be doing next and looking for things.· Take breaks! This is such a good thing to do. If you sit for 3 hours doing one thing, it's never going to go in properly. If you take breaks and change scenery every half hour then you will feel more relaxed and more open to learning new things.· Plan fun things! If you plan that one this day you do this activity, you can look foreward to it. But if you don't have anything good planned then you're basically spending your time feeling like poo. So maybe plan a cinema trip, or going out for lunch. Then plan your timetable around that.· Post-it notes! I love these, I write everything on them, then stick them up all over my room. This way whenever I go to get something I will read a little snippet of knowledge.· Flash cards! I use these a bit like post its. They are really useful if your exams will be quiz type questions, based on knowledge. You can put a question on one side and the answer on the other. You can test yourself or get others involved.· Colours! This is the thing that helps me the most. I break everything I do up into sections and each section has a color. Also its a good excuse to go out and buy some pretty pens. Highlight all the most important information and when you glance at the page you get all the best bits!
I hope this has been helpful to you :)See you soon.
