Review || Urban Decay NAKED 2 Palette

Hellooo shimmers,
I finally joined the band waggon and purchased this beautiful, spectacular and magnificent palette! I have wanted it for so long but being a student my budget didn't quite stretch to it, however Christmas came and I was spoilt by friends and family which allowed me to buy this after Christmas.
I know that every Bob, Fred and Jim probably own a NAKED palette of some sort and I am a little bit late to the party but boy am I glad I joined the party! This has to be one of the best makeup purchases I have ever made, and I mean that.
There are twelve gorgeous shades from gold to copper to black and everything in between. Matte and shimmer and all amazingly pigmented. Every color holds its own and yet is super easy to blend to create those wanted smokey and seducing eyes.
Every shade has a name, I love the names. It really annoys me when products don't have color names because a) it makes it difficult to tell you all about it and b) it makes the products more exciting when they have interesting and exciting names. Is it just me that like names?!
They even give the black shade a name ad not just black, which it clearly is!

I love the little brush that comes with it. One side has a slightly firmer smaller brush (above) and the other end (below) is a blending brush.
It is in a hard case so it will take a little bit of bashing when traveling which is fantastic and it closes tightly so wont open itself and spill inside your makeup bag.
Half Baked and Chopper are my two favorite shades in this palette. Half baked is a gold shimmery shade and chopper is a rose gold shimmer shade.

Overall a truly beautiful, luxurious and elegant palette. A palette suitable for royalty...maybe I am over doing the compliments slightly but it is truly amazing and I love it. I can see why everybody raves about it.
