My experience:

I am a huge huge fan of coffee! I can’t live without it! In fact, my brain doesn’t function without drinking coffee… be it hot or cold! And plus, I loveeeee the smell of coffee! How can someone not love it? It’s intoxicating for me!

Because of this, I had this coffee scrub on my wishlist since long and this is also their bestseller but since The Nature’s Co products are only sold at one place in Delhi, I wasn’t able to get it. And then I got an invite to the store and got this scrub for reviewing!

Aahh.. this scrub is bliss, believe me!

This scrub comes in a fat little transparent tube. It’s very sturdy and travel friendly. The flip top cap shuts very tightly and is easy to use.

And when you open the cap of the tube… well, you just entered coffee heaven! It smells so deliciously of coffee and also has hints of chocolate what more can a girl ask for? Know?

The smell doesn’t linger after you wash your face so you won’t go around smelling of coffee

The texture of the scrub is truly that of a scrub. It’s a thick brown paste with coarse coffee granules. The coffee scrubbing granules are not exactly what you can call mild! And I think these can be a little harsh on sensitive skin; but they’re not at all abrasive! For normal skin, its fine and it clears the skin very well and makes skin very very soft and smooth!

Since the scrub is cream based, it is quite hydrating. I have oily skin but it never made my skin oilier than it is. Neither did it cause any break outs. I just skip moisturizer when I use this. It is great for dry skin I feel, it’ll give an extra boost of moisture along with cleaning skin well

The ingredient list is chemical free so this won’t do any unnecessary harm to skin.

I personally feel that any face product will either have oil/cream as base or water or a mixture, right? So any one of these can’t really suit every skin type and so every product doesn’t suit every skin type. What suits me may or may not work for you! So, when I say I love a product or I hate it, doesn’t mean you will too! Also, for cosmetics, what suits me and what I like, you may or may not like it! Everyone has a different type, choice, preference etc! and when I review and rate a product on my blog, I’m only sharing my views, I do not vouch that you will have the same experience with it! I’m only mentioning this because of late, I’ve been getting comments and few messages about something that some people do not like and they wrote quite bashful comments which I found quite mean!

Anyway, moving on with the review, I don’t use it more than 2 times a week as it can be too moisturizing for my skin but dryer skin types can use it more often. On days I use this, I feel so fresh as the smell of coffee just wakes up my senses and also the whole experience of using this rich scrub wakes me up completely. It’s like a small pampering session.

Although I love it right now, I think I’m going to love it even more in winters when my skin gets quite dry!

Overall, it’s a very good quality scrub which does its job well. It smells of coffee and chocolate  chemical free, delicious smell, good exfoliator! But slightly expensive! Recommended!
