HD BROWS has been an eyebrow craze sweeping the UK over the last year, so I am sure many of you, especially from the UK, are fully aware of what this is. Just in case you do not know anything about HD BROWS then HD Brows is a seven-step eyebrow shaping treatment that focuses on design. It involves a combination of techniques, including tinting, waxing and threading, using specialist HD Brows products. On average this shall last upto 4 weeks, then another treatment shall be required.
Its Fabulous especially if you like a polished brow look. It’s a well known fact that spending a little time shaping and defining eyebrows can add real impact to your usual look and this makes it so easy to maintain that ‘fresh out of the salon’ appearance.
Anyhow the two products I want to shout about are the HD Brow/eye Palette & Advanced Brow Pencil. I get asked a lot what I use on my brows to get them so 'perfect' looking so here it is! I have used the products now for 8 months and always recommend them to my friends & clients so thought it deserved its own blog post!

What I think ...- Well worth investing in! I have the shade Vamp (received in last Septembers glossybox) which is for dark hair and I am blonde but do I like a dark brow, so you can select whichever palette you want and of course mix the colours to get the right shade for you. It lasts forever as I have used mine everyday for the past 8 months and it still looks like new as you can see from my photos!
- You can achieve anything from a very subtle, light brow look to a strong, defined brow.
- Its very long wearing, fantastically smudge proof but so easy to remove. The long-lasting, anti-smudge powders keep your brows looking fab for up to 24 hours!
- You can create so much from this one palette as it is a 3-in-1 product as not only can it be used as a brow powder, it can also be used as an eyeliner and eyeshadow quad! All that in one handy palette.

- Ok so you SHAPE this pencil, not SHARPEN! You do this to get ultra fine pencil strokes.Its how some people still sharpen objects without the use of a pencil sharpener today! There is a trick to using this, as this is no ordinary brow pencil as you can tell, so to get the finest possible flat tip you have to pull the little string down the side of the pencil, then some of the paper shall unravel, exposing the lead part. You then use something very sharp like a pen knife, to shave each side of the lead gently, so that the top is not rounded to a point, but flat to create a small hair line shaped end.
- You then can create ultra fine hair strokes to blend in with you natural brows hair, making them look even more defined but still natural looking, Genius!
- This does take some getting used to I must say. The lead can snap quite easily then you have to start shaping all over again! I don't use this as often as the palette but its great if you need to fill in the front of your brows a little more but want it to look natural looking. Make sure you apply in the direction of the hair when drawing in more hairs. Again it stays put, no smudging and goes on very easily!
- A great product to own if you do spend time on your brows and want them looking brow-delicious! I purchased mine at the salon that was doing the HD brow treatment as most HD salons shall stock the products too.
Now I did book in for HD BROWS in the UK last year but unfortunately was told by the technician that I did not have enough brow hair for a HD Brow. I was disappointed as I spend a lot of time on my brows. I was told I had really good brows anyhow and shaped them very well myself (seeing as I am a beauty therapist they should be!) so they recommended the HD BROW products to use instead to get the HD look. Since then they are now a staple in my make up case!
