That's certainly the feeling that one could get after using Guerlain Ecrin 2 Couleurs Eyeshadow in Two Extravagant.What a surreal combination, ethereal finish and simply divine application! This is all you'd need with eyeshadows like these. Guerlain was able to eliminate the guess work and of course the effort taken in an eyeshadow application process and come out with one step easy solutions for a woman on the go. Guerlain has invented “ready-to-colour”, the perfect accessory for making the eyes a real fashion statement. This new fine and slender case slips easily into a handbag for use at any time. It opens vertically to reveal an elegant mirror… Inside: two eyeshadows, two textures, two color accessories applied using its double-ended applicator to create amazing effects.
PACKAGINGTwo Extravagant comes in the quintessential Guerlain luxury packaging, with a black cardboard box and a black velvet sleeve holding a beautiful sleek gold colored compact that holds 2 eyeshadow colors, one single long double ended applicator and a long mirror to look into. The mirror is clear and luxurious too. The packaging is very effortless and does look very elegant to look at while it is ergonomically clever in manufacturing and does not take a lot of space in the makeup bag.FORMULATwo extravagant eyeshadow duo has two colors and both are ethereal in their textures, finishes and application. The first shade is an ultra glittery eyeshadow pressed in a pan with a filler to hold the glitter in one place and then apply it smoothly on the lids. The gel binding agent makes the glitter adhere nicely, stay put and minimizes fall outs. This shade is comparable to the glittery shades in the Tom Ford eyeshadow palettes and of course the new Charlotte Tilbury 'POP' shades in the eyeshadow quads too.The second shade is a satiny matte formulation which almost feels like a cream eyeshadow. The eyeshadow is so soft and finely milled that it tends to get jabbed in the pan with an eyeshadow brush. I remember the 'slurry' technology which Christian Dior used to make their eyeshadows and this happens to be an evolution of the same. I would call this as silky matte as it covers the lids and has a certain long lasting dewy glow on the eye that cannot be missed. Indeed Guerlain has created a wonderful texture that scores well in the long lasting side as well as in the finish.COLORThe first shade (vertical picture) is an iridescent warm light green glitter which is highly reflective, fine milled and comes with a clear base that holds the glitter particles together. Its a color that imparts sheer translucency to the lids mimicking a floating light over water kind of application. The second shade is a warm medium brown and applies satin on the lid. After a color block look?She goes for monochrome, matte or sparkly in turn, applied in a single shade to the entire eyelid, drawing lightly away from the crease towards the arch of the eyebrow. The matte base is applied to the entire eyelid, drawing lightly away from the crease towards the arch of the eyebrow. The sparkling shade is layered on top for color with a twist and eyes that pop.After a rock chic look? She opts for shading. The matte shade is applied as a wash over the eyelid and the metallic shade used to fill in below the arch of the eyebrow for a bright, wide-eyed look.

  • Guerlain Two Extravagant - Brown - Outer corners, crease, lash line and lower lids (smoked out).
  • Guerlain Two Extravagant - Glitter Green - On the center of the lids and in inner corners.
  • MAC eye lash curler - to curl the lashes and prep for mascara application.
  • Rimmel Brow Pencil - to tame the brows and direction their shape.
  • Guerlain Cils D'Enfer Mascara - to create the most sumptuous looking lashes
