Review: Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou #3 Strawberry Chou

By Herugliness
Hello! ~
It's April 1st - I hope you will all have a great month! For myself I wish that it will get finally warmer here and that I won't get April fooled. T_T
Today I am reviewing the Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou in the shade #3 Strawberry Chou for you!I always wanted to try out a lip tint! Lip tint is supposed to have much more color than lip gloss, but not be as "heavy" on the lips as lipcolor. It is also supposed to last longer. Lipstick often looks bad on my dry lips and lip gloss seems to last like 15 minutes only for me, so lip tint actually sounds perfect, right? So, my very first lip tint was this 55 Kissful Tint Chou by Etude House I stumbled upon in the Etude House store in Tokyo. It is available in 4 different shades and I picked #3, which is the only pink shade. It looks like Etude House is just in the process of renewing the packing design of it, so it will look more cuter in the future, but the content stays the same!
The tint comes in a small tube which is about the size of a lipstick. The tint itself is of a pastel pink color. It isn't like gloss at all, as it is a solid color, not see-through at all. Just imagine pink tooth paste.

The taste of this is great. I am surprised I am writing this! Usually I prefer my lip products taste less or fruity, but I dislike the bubblegum-taste of some Etude products I tried previously. The 55 Kissful Tint Chou tastes like bubblegum too, only that, this time, it seems to be tasty bubblegum. I kind of like it. (Now call me crazy, but the scent has a faint resemblance to how my toy My little Ponies smelled like when I was a child)Best part is that the tint actually feels awesome on my lips! It is not like lipstick that dries out my lips at all, and it it also isn't sticky like lip gloss often is. Applying it feels a lot like applying lip balm on your lips. There is also absolutely no problem with my chapped lips and color collecting in the creases. On top of this it also gives my lips a decent "glossy" finish. The color is also quite visible and is turning my lips into a nice soft pink shade. I have heard that lip tints can look very different on your lips depending on what the natural color of your lips is, so don't go too much by my photos with this.

Overall I am very pleased with the Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou. I think I will try out a lot more lip tints in the future!
