That color, that sleek packaging and all that jazz: it can only be Estee Lauder. Lippies has always been my major weaknesses and so it was not surprise that when this love package came my way, I was left weak-kneed. The Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy has been a raved favorite our beauty bloggers' tribe; waxing lyricals of its highly-saturated colors without drying out lips.

This season, the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipsticks ($32) thrills me to no end, with 16 brand new hues covering the color spectrum, ranging from natural nudes to the deep rich plums. Can I just say how much I LOVE the stylish casing? The sleek navy & gold, bullet-shape the lipstick feels so ergonomic in hand, but Estee Lauder's additional thoughtfulness to embed a magnetic closure also means you can rest assured covers won't fall out during bag turbulence!

Stating in gradient order, first up we have Insatiable Ivory. Beautiful name and this comes off as a very silky-looking nude shade, abit too light so it that took about an additional layer in order to capture the color. I envision this would be perfect to pair off with a smokey gray eyes, without the nude shade not being overly washed out.
I like this shade the best and am actually using thise for my everyday. Complex, unlike its name isn't  at all hard to pair with my usual makeup look of lined eyes and barely-there dash of blush. The shade is a perfect balance of peachy-pink, a shade I do believe is universally flattering on most skin types, but more so as for our yellowish asian skintones. The shade is understated but bright enough to draw attention.

When I first saw this, I had a double take as it was called Defiant Coral and I was expecting a more orangey hue. I am not usually one to wear such a vivid shade but I love the girly-ness of this happy medium between a hot pink + brick red. You know what they say about color therapy? I think it works when I feel a surge of confidence when meeting my clients. Its especially my go-to shade for a night out to party with my ladies!
One of my new year resolutions this year was to try purple lipstick, which I always felt looked mysterious and beguiling at the same time. Irresistible comes off as a very rich, luscious full grape-stained purple shade that veers more to warm than cool undertone. I am abit annoyed though; when flaunting off to my mom and the boyfriend, both replied saying I looked like I was frigid from the cold. Tsk...nonetheless, I'm enthusiastic about incorporating this by blending a teeny bit of Complex to soften the hue.

Here's how it looks when swatched on hand below. The colors are richly-pigmented, thanks to the Multi-facet Color Pigments so that just a single coat yields enough color to enhance lips, and I can definitely vouch for its hydrating properties Time Release Encapsulated Moisture Complex and Hyaluronic acid. I wore Complex shade for an entire day, only to touch up just one time after eating, and my lips remained so plumped up and supple.

But fastest fingers first! These new shades will only be available at all Estee Lauder counters and the ION Orchard boutique for a limited time for the month of February. I'm definitely going to stock up while I can....cause a girl can never have too much lippies!

If there is one thing you need to add to your makeup arsenal this month, it's the Estee Lauder Little Black Primer ($40). Like a quintessential little black dress we have in our wardrobe, this primer promises promises to tint, amplify and set lashes for full out gorgeous eyes. It's a win-win for me; extra brownie points for the being a multi-tasking product means that you really get bang for your buck.

Its curved wand head means that you get to Without even having to add a coat of mascara, my eyes look significantly 'open'. Fine bristles deliver maximum product onto lashes in a single swipe, and I felt it manage to comb and detangled my lashes upon application.
Gliding on smoothly and easily, it definitely extends my lashes as shown below, but personally I feel it really amps up more on the volume. Which is kind of perfect anyway, given that the Little Black Primer also acts as a tint, giving a richer dark hue my lashes, making it great to be used on its own! As for its role as a overcoat, I felt that the Little Black Primer does help to extend the longevity of my mascara, considering how my oily-combination skin type tends to cause it to smudge rather easily after half a day.
The Estee Lauder Little Black Primer is currently retailing at all Estee Lauder counters and ION Orchard boutique. Get yours today!
