Review: Biore Micellar Cleansing Water

By Vivianism @vivianism

I received this Biore Micellar Cleansing Water in my mailbox and was not expecting much from it. I love Biore’s sunblock but when it comes to their cleansing products, I’m more of a mehhh. Didn’t quite like their cleansing oil and bubble face wash.

For those who is not sure what Micellar Cleansing Water is, it is actually a type of makeup remover that doubles up as cleanser. It is non-oily, non-rinse and can effectively removes makeup. It is free from alcohol and formulated with natural mineral water from the Northern Japanese Alps. It is gentle and soothing enough even for sensitive skin, while its anti-bacterial properties help prevent pimples and breakouts. Enriched with Collagen and White Extract, it leaves skin looking brighter and feeling softer and suppler.
Perfectly good for days when you need to quickly remove your makeup.

So how does this Micellar Cleansing Water fare?

On my hand from left to right: Eyeliner, lipstick, mascara

I placed a cotton pad soaked with the cleansing water and lay it on top of my hand for a few seconds before wiping the makeup off.

Everything was removed except for my mascara. You will need a separate remover for your mascara.

Testing it on my face. Right side of my makeup has been completely removed including my BB cream. Two to three cotton pads are needed for the entire face. It does sting my eyes a little when I was trying to remove my eyeliner. The trick is to shut ur eyes tight.

Hello to clean soft bare skin!

What surprises me was my skin is actually hydrated after the removal!

I was shocked by the reading! The skin was pretty hydrated! Didn’t expect it to happen!
