“Putting makeup on is so difficult!”
But actually, what most girls mean is that removing makeup is so difficult! This is me at the end of the day where makeup smudges and face looks tired plus oily. It doesn’t help that it was 11pm, the time that I’m about to head to bed. All I want at the end of the day is a makeup free skin.
A while ago, I was sent the Biore’s latest cleansing oil cotton facial sheets.
The new formula promises 20% more cleansing liquid to remove stubborn, waterproof makeup gently & effectively.
It minimizes repeated wiping by 50% on eyelashes, eye area & face.
It is alcohol-free, colorant free and allergy tested.
This was the size of the biore cotton sheet, almost as big as my palm size. I didn’t particularly feel the difference between the old formula and the new formula. Perhaps the only difference I felt was that it was less stingy on the face which I guess seems to be a better option for sensitive skin.
I took 3 wipes to remove all my makeup, including my waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
A side by side comparison to show that majority of the makeup has been removed in just 3 wipes.
However, I wasn’t too convinced and at ease, so I did a toner test. And the end result was that the tissue (cos I ran out of cotton wool) looks generally clean, however there seems to be a little foundation that has yet to be completely cleansed.
A closer look shows that the makeup wasn’t removed totally. Mascara wasn’t fully removed either.
My verdict is that the biore cotton sheet is a good choice while traveling on the go and you need to remove your makeup easily.
However, if you are putting on full makeup like I did, this isn’t going to be a good choice in the long run. I bring this along in my bag for touch up purposes.
