The pigment on all of these lipsticks is great, and Precious is no exception. One layer of color is all you need for the entire day. It applies evenly, which can be a problem for a lot of liquid lipsticks. It isn't patchy, either. It is probably one of the most intensely matte lipsticks in my collection. If you don't like matte, don't get this stuff. It takes a few minutes to completely dry down, but once it does, it is not going anywhere until you take it off. And even that takes a little bit of effort. You will want to use an oil based remover to take it off, otherwise, it won't budge. I do find it to be quite drying, but it isn't unbearable. As long as I keep my lips exfoliated and hydrated, which I do anyway, I don't have a problem.
The texture of these liquid lipsticks is nice, too. They don't have the mousse like texture like many others, which isn't bad, but I personally don't like it as much. The Amore Matte Lip Creme's have a smooth, creamy texture that isn't too thick or too thin. It doesn't flake off or ball up, or any of those kind of problems. I like the applicator a lot, too. It isn't a doefoot, but more of a paddle. I typically don't like more rounded applicators, because it is more challenging for me to apply color to the corners of my lips. And you can probably tell from my swatches that is still the case. But it is easier for me to use than most other rounded applicators.
Overall, these are amazing and comparable to a lot of the higher end liquid lipsticks I have. I highly recommend trying at least one shade out, and Precious is a good one to go with because it goes with a lot of looks. I found mine at Walgreens and they are $8.99 if you are interested.
I hope ya'll are having a great week so far! I have a few eyeliner reviews coming up, so be on the lookout for them. See you soon!
