So it’s been a while since I did any review on a facial service – mostly because it’s a trade-off for a beauty blogger. Either I try out products, or I try out a service – what can I do, since I haz #onlyoneface , as large and round as it is 😀 anyhoos, I’m quite a fan of CNP facials in Korea, but in Singapore, I settle for the next best thing – Aeon and its Korean doctor, Dr Michael Kim. I first met him at a Laneige event several years ago and decided to give this place a try, and guess what, I ended up going back for moarrrr.
Aeon Medical and Aesthetic Centre is located at:
9 Scotts Road #06-02/03
Scotts Medical Centre, Pacific Plaza
Singapore 228210
TEL +65-6733-2002
E-mail: info@aeonmedical.com.sg
Now this place is pretty decent, somewhere in the middle-upper range. The furnishing are classy, posh, and there are even several waiting areas (versus a common waiting area where everyone is lumped awkwardly together).
Now upon your first visit, you’ll have to analyze your skin using this Visia machine – it basically maps out portions of your face (on various scans) and checks out the skin conditions – fine lines, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation etc. Based on these scans, Dr Kim will have a consultation with you and prescribe / customise treatments. Now even though this is also an aesthetics clinic, his core philosophy is to get you good healthy skin first (which is unlike some other clinics that I’ve gone to, where the doctors jump at the very first chance to recommend botox, fillers etc). That said, Aeon does provide such services should you request/need/want such enhancements).
Once you’re done with the facial, you can head over to their Powder Room to touch up. There are plenty of stuff here – makeup remover wipes, brushes, combs, hair ties, etc.
Overall, I’d say this is a pretty decent place to head to for a facial – it combines massage, machine and human skill in a facial session (without being too k-biased). And now, I’m not paid anything/getting commission to say this hurhurhur. I paid for my sessions thereeee. For its pricing – it really depends on how/what you’re intending to do. They also have package deals that aren’t just restricted to one type of treatment x 12 sessions etc. Go try it out for yourself if you’re hunting for a new facial place 😀
