So, here we are at the end of July. It’s been a CRAZY month. Here the things I LOVED this month…
Nivea Sun Light Feel suncreen, $12.99 (50mL)
My friend Chelsea got my hooked on this. If you don’t apply sunscreen daily, even in the middle of Winter, you need to start… like, yesterday! I love this because it’s light on the skin and doesn’t leave that white cast on your face like others do.
Soap & Glory Hand Food, $11.95 (125mL)
I bought this ages ago and forgot I had it til I ran out of my KORA Organics Daily Hand Cream. This isn’t something that I loved this month, it was just one of those products I used the most this month. It’s a pretty good hand cream, smells like marshmellows and doesn’t make your hands sticky either. Pretty good hand cream for the price.
Benefit’s They’re Real mascara, $38.00
So, I’ve been trying to avoid buying this but I buckled under the pressure of the special of get a full size AND a mini for the price of one. I honestly haven’t looked back and it has closely replaced my holy grail mascara, Bobbi Brown. Everything that people say about it is true! Worth the price tag too, it’s amazing!
Nivea Lip Butter Unscented, $3.50* (19mL)
I’m the last person on the planet to get into these and I’m almost kicking myself for it. I picked the unscented one because I could already see myself getting bored of the others had I got them. I use this just before I go to bed and my lips are silky smooth in the morning.
* – bought on sale.
The Balm’s Shady Lady Vol. 2 eyeshadow palette, $49.95
I bought this ages ago and found it when I did a shop my stash earlier this month. I’ve been using a lot of the ‘Devilish Danielle’ for my everyday look, but I’ve done many smokey eye looks with ‘Bossy Bobbi’, ‘Feisty Felicia’ and ‘Caught In The Act Courtney’. I don’t know if they still sell this in David Jones or if they’re even available as single eyeshadows, but they’ve got great pigmentation and $50 for 9 shadows…? Yes please!
OPI RapiDry Top Coat, $22.50 (15mL)
This was definitely a splurge for me this month. Since I change my nailpolish so often, I didn’t really have the patience for a top coat that took ages to dry. This top coat dries promises what it does, but you definitely need to add more than one top coat to achieve a nice shine to it.
