Rambagh { Palace } Rose

Today we are going to the Rambagh Palace for tea, or more specifically to the Polo Bar at the Rambagh. Nestled away behind guarded gates, with immaculately manicured lawns, horse drawn carriages and endless chances to snap photos of rose petal baths, lies the majestic and beautiful Rambagh Palace. Daddy originally offered for us to stay here, but we chose to stay in the more relaxed (less formal) settings of the Samode Haveli. Paying visits to both these places was a wonderful contrast and also great fun to see the difference of the Palace setting compared to the Haveli. If I could have sashayed away with this glittering parasol I most definitely would have. However, I thought I would look just a teensy, little, bit shady doing so. The first of many. When you climb up the steps and enter through the doors into the welcoming room you are hit immediately with the strong and delicate smell of rose petals which float in many little baths alongside candles at nighttime. It’s heavenly, and I definitely think places in the UK should do this.
