Que Bella Cherry & Apricot Exfoliating Cleanser Review

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Que Bella Cherry & Apricot Exfoliating Cleanser has become a quick favorite. It is affordable and treated my skin very nicely so far. Which is awesome because my skin is being very particular and finicky right now.
One of the main concepts behind Que Bella is "spa at home" and I am all about that life. They use some of nature's best ingredients to pamper your skin, even your hands and feet. All of their products are at least 80% natural.
To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first. I have grown accustomed to chemical exfoliators and prefer them now. But the Cherry and Apricot Exfoliating Cleanser is really great.

Here is what Que Bella says about this lovely cleanser:
"The Que Bella Cherry and Apricot Exfoliating Cleanser polishes to remove make up, dead skin cells and impurities to reveal the fresh, glowing skin below. Your skin is left feeling renewed and revitalized and perfectly prepared to enjoy a gorgeous Que Bella face mask.  As your Perfect Pampering Partner, this is no normal exfoliating cleanser. It has been formulated specifically to prepare your skin to get the most out of your face mask experience. This treatment takes the natural exfoliants derived from the Cherry kernel and Apricot kernel and combines them with Vitamin E, well known for its antioxidant properties. Vitamin E also has a reputation for helping heal scars and scar tissues and preventing damage to the skin from free radicals."Awesome, right? I have used it quite a few times and I love it.  It is not the least bit harsh or abrasive, but still does a good job of exfoliating.  My skin always feels fresh, clean, and smooth afterwards.  My skin is pretty sensitive as of late and my skin never feels itchy, dry, or tight after using it.
I have never used scrubs to remove my makeup. I would always cleanse, then use my scrub. Or exfoliate in the morning. But this stuff appears to have some chops in makeup removal.  I had a splotch of foundation on my hand from this morning. I rubbed the little but I used for my picture all over my hand, and it took the foundation right off. It also made my hand feel silky smooth and didn't irritate my hands. My hands are crazy sensitive, more so than my face. The texture of the cleanser is more like a gel, with small pieces of apricot. It does foam ever so slightly, and you only need a small amount. You can get quite a few uses out of one packet.

And the smell? It is amazing. It smells just like you would think: cherries with a hint of apricot. It doesn't smell synthetic or too strong or too sweet, either. It reminds me a lot of this Jergens lotion my mom used a lot when I was a kid. Sadly, I am 99% sure they don't make it anymore. The scent was cherry and almonds.
I looked at the ingredient list, and found that this is not a paraben free product. I wanted to mention that because I know it is highly important for many people. I also want to mention that they do not test on animals.

Now on to the packaging. If you have seen Que Bella at Target, you know that most of their products do not come in the typical bottles or tubes customary of most facial products. They come in a pouch that tears open. At first glance, you may think of it as a single use kind of thing. I can get 5+ uses out of it.  This is especially handy if you are getting away for the week and don't want to pack a lot of stuff. It also good to use for sleepovers or an at home girl's spa night. For my use, I would store it in a small ramekin. I have found some at Wal-Mart for next to nothing, and they come with lids.
I would definitely buy this again and think it is worth trying out.  I am currently trying their pore cleansing mask as a T zone treatment since I am still having issues with breaking out. Anyways, I will try it out a few times and let you know my thoughts! If you are interested in Que Bella, you can find their products at Target. You can also learn more about them on their website.
