For those who don’t know… washing my hair is my least favorite thing to do as a Beauty Blogger. For years I’ve washed my hair a couple of times a week and would avoid using any products that would make my hair greasy and gross just so my wash would last longer.
THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER DUO HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED ALL THAT.
It’s changed my attitude towards washing hair because it does what it says it’s supposed to!
They both have a very thick consistency but keep in mind that A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.
Due to habit I take a larger portion of shampoo and conditioner because my hair is so long and thick. Also, because my hair is on the oily/combination side, having a larger amount of shampoo would be give my hair a decent wash.
This duo needs to be taken lightly because too much will be going overboard and you’ll run out of shampoo and conditioner before you know it.
I shampoo twice and condition my ends once, and this lasts me about 3-4 days without washing it – this is with thick, long, oily/combination hair. For those who have finer hair you could possibly get away with much longer.
When hair is dry, it will feel light, bouncy and volumised.
So, what is Biotin? Why is it good for your hair?
Biotin strengthens both hair follicles and the hair shaft and encourages healthy hair. As a result, hair will be less prone to breakage and will have fewer split ends, which means fuller, thicker hair.
As for Collagen, it’s protein made up of amino acids that is found in the human body that gives skin its strength, waterproofing, and elasticity. This also helps in hair growth.
I started using this in early May and I’ve noticed that my hair is smoother, shinier and healthier about a fortnight after using it. Around the same time I started using these I got a haircut and my hair has since started growing much better than it did using other shampoos and conditioners and it gives my hair the most amazing volume and bounce to my hair without having to use too many products and styling tools.
Definitely give it a go and see the difference.
Available in June 2013 from Priceline, supermarkets and anywhere that sell Organix products. RRP $19.99 each.
