Product Review: Germany Away Jersey

By Simplyfutb01 @simplyjuan11

Adidas decided to go retro with their away strip and in the process made it one of the more popular jerseys of the summer.

The new Germany jersey was one that gives tribute to team that won the first-ever European title back in 1972 after Die Mannschafft defeated the Soviet Union 3-0.

This jersey design is also familiar to football fans that saw the Germans use it in the 1986 World Cup as well.

This jersey commemorates the 40th anniversary of that feat and German fans want to see that fate replicated this year in Poland and Ukraine.

Adidas have been able to institute the subtle difference in the fabric, thus giving the jersey a hoop effect.

The white collar as well as the three stripes on the shoulder gives the jersey a very distinct touch should send many fans thinking about the days when Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Müller were the men that terrorized the football world.

The jersey has some very cool details that offer it added authenticity. The German crest is pressed on the left chest with three stars above it and the Adidas logo is stitched on the right chest. Also the victory back in 1972 is commemorated on the jersey. The inside of the jersey has 1972 on top of 2012 in order to give homage to Germany’s first-ever European title.

Comfort
Of course, like any athlete, the jersey inspires a great deal of passion.  So when supporting one’s team, the passion could prove to generate heat and discomfort. This is why the CLIMACOOL design allows the individuals wearing the garb to be cooled and refreshed a bit more. This technology removes the heat and moisture buildup on those hot days where you are either playing in a league or pick up game, or maybe even you are watching a match.

More importantly, this jersey is extremely comfortable and light to use.
