I think every brand is coming out with their version of Clinique's chubby stick. Well, Primark may not be a makeup brand but they do stock quite a bit of makeup these days. So, I was at the till paying and I saw these lip crayons there that looked similar to the Revlon/Clinique and was very tempted to get one. I picked the darkest color and bought it.
These actually don't have a shade name or number which is a shame, but there are only three colours and this is the darkest one. I picked the darker one because I had an idea that they turn out to be lighter than what thy look like and I wanted something that would show up.The packaging looks really nice in my opinion and is literally the same as the other lip crayons with the twist function. This is a dark pink shade that looks like a pinky purple but once applied it gives a nice sheer tint which I like for daytime or days when you can not be asked with makeup. This is actually a very close match to my own natural lip color so it gives it a nice tint and enhances them but the color isn't as vibrant because it's the same shade as my lips. It's moisturizing and stays put for about 2 hours which I don't mint because it is a balm stain. Another thing, you can build the color up by adding a couple of layers which adds depth in the shade. For £1.50 this is a great little bargain and worth a try if you like sheer balm tints.
