Playing With Makeup: Radiant Orchid for Less

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
This is one of those FOTD's that was done out of boredom.  I had no reason to leave this house, but I still wanted to try out some new products.  Plus I love that Pantone named Radiant Orchid as the color of the year, so I was inspired to use some inexpensive options to create some kind of look.  And I was getting a bit tired of using neutral shadows all the time, so I needed some color. I had no intentions of posting these pictures, but I figured it would be nice to see a few of these items in action.
Products Used:
1.) NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
2.) L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Burst Into Bloom on the lid and Purple Priority as an eyeliner
   3.) NYX Curvaceous Mascara
4.) Wet n Wild Centerstage BB Cream
5.) NYX Butter Lipstick in Taffy
6.) Maybelline Master Glaze Cheek Stain in Pink Fever
7.) Almay Smart Shade CC Concealer+Brightener
This is an extremely easy and quick look to throw together.  All I did was apply NYX's Milk as an eyeshadow base and blended it out.  After letting it sit for a few seconds, I applied Burst Into Bloom on my lid and blended it.  I used Purple Priority to line my upper and lower lash line. To help conceal dark circles, I applied Almay's new CC Concealer+Brightener under my eyes. To finish up my eyes, I filled in my brows and applied two coats of mascara.
I applied a little bit of the BB cream and added a sheer layer of blush.  I finished off the look with NYX's Taffy on the lips.
And that is that.  It probably took me 10 minutes, maybe a little less. It is nice, springy, floral inspired look using easy to find drugstore products.
