Seeing how the Pirates have been in last place for so many years its good we made it this far. We can have memories of Barry Bonds when he lifted us on his shoulders. Its players like that who are the only reason we ever had a winning season. The Cardinals have been owning us so hard for so long that the fans are just used to taking it in the shorts. So despite Bonds Juicing to get us what few winning season we have ever had its warms my heart to see us almost do good.
Maybe it doesnt sound so good but as a pirate fan I am proud to be on my knees and taking everything the Cardinals are dishing out. Maybe in my dreams in another 10 years we can have a team that breaks even. I hope that all of you are realists and know that we can not actually win the wild card game anyway.
