Pirate Fans, Your Opinion on the Orioles

I'm curious to learn the opinion of the Pirate fans on here concerning the Baltimore Orioles. Like them? Hate them? Just another team?

They aren't the Yankees or the Red Sox...and I see them as being a little like the Pirates. Their style of play and the whole Next man up deal.
They have lost Machado, Weiters and now Davis. But they keep winning.

They have lost Machado, Weiters and now Davis. But they keep winning. They too remind me of the Pirates and other smaller market teams that win, like Tampa Bay, Oakland, Milwaukee, Cleveland, etc.
Do you guys see any "bad blood" because the Orioles are a Baltimore-based team, and that the Pirates played them in 2 World Series?

The only reason I would root against them would be because I wouldn't want any Ravens fans to be happy. That's how much my hate for the Ravens extends.

The fan connection between football and baseball isn't always that solid.
Just take a look around this site.
There are 7-10 of us who follow the Pirates.
But when it comes to the Steelers, there are 30 more people.

No ill feelings toward the Orioles. My dream is for a Pirates-Royals World Series just for the sheer novelty of it. Seriously just think about it that would be a heck of a World Series for Bud to end his era on. Aside from that matchup of the teams currently in the AL race I'd say the Orioles would be near the top of my list of teams I wouldn't mind seeing win.

My aunt is a big fan, she loves Camden Yards and liked Cal Ripken Jr. while he was playing. So I have no beef with them. Hate the Ravens obviously, but the MLB and NFL are two different worlds.

I realize its crazy thought. Its a stretch, but if it were to come down to rooting between 2 teams I don't care about, that's the type of things I think about.

I do that sometimes too. If it were a game between the Rams and Seahawks, for example, I'd remember how much I hate the Cardinals and cheer for the Seahawks.
