I love picnics and I had always wanted to bring 👶🏻See to one. A couple of days ago, my Mom had to run some errands and I brought 👶🏻See to Singapore Botanic Gardens for a picnic! It was also my first time bringing him out by myself. Achievement unlocked!
Tips for taking baby to picnic
Tip #1: What time should baby picnic start?
The best time to bring a baby to a picnic is after their nap! Shower, dress them and you're good to go. Always good to prepare and pack things you need beforehand while they're sleeping.Tip #2: What food to bring for baby picnic?
Happy baby = happy tummy. Initially, I had wanted to make some pancakes or muffins after googling 'baby picnic food' and 'picnic food ideas for baby' but I decided simplify things by bringing along his favorite fruits - banana and blueberries as well as his Happybaby Superfood puffs organic grain snack and a croissant that I got on our way there.Tip #3: Should I bring a picnic basket?
With a baby, less is more. So I brought along my rattan basket tray from Taobao instead. And guess what? The picnic mat is actually a disposable tablecloth that I got from Daiso!Tip #4: What to bring for baby picnic?
Apart from the usual baby essentials you would carry in your diaper bag, I would recommend packing some extra plastic bags to be used as trash bags as well as bottled water that can be used to wash baby's hands or feet. I find it useful to have a checklist to check against before I leave home. Here's my checklist.Baby picnic checklist
