Photography ~~ Fall Splendor

By Vintagefrenchchic

Or not.  I have to tell you, we are not having great color in these here parts so far this year.  It is a little…or a lot…disappointing.  Our forecast is calling for rain over the next few days so even if there is some miraculous bloom of vibrant color, it’s not going to be that great in the rain…if the leaves don’t get pummeled to death first.

Speaking of death…today I took a walk through our city cemetery.  I love walking through cemeteries.  The more history and the more trees there are, the happier I am.  First, I walked the dog through it and while there I thought about Fall and the coming rain and the lack of color and the “last” chance of getting some pics of this season.  So while good ole’ Rockefeller was getting himself beautified, I went back to the cemetery with my camera.  Here is some of what I saw:

The last two photos are from my favorite city overlook.  As you can see in the first “pinhole” filter photo, the colors aren’t so hot.  But when I added my “pop art” filter, well why then I got a glimpse of the Fall I would like to be having.

Hope you are having pretty colors in your neck of the woods…if you are having Fall right now.

Thank you for tuning in.
