I am back from Chicago but not necessarily back to “blogging world”. We have a very busy weekend and upcoming week so I will be making myself scarce again. Chicago was, in a word, fantastic! We had such a wonderful time. A few of the photos I took while there work with this week’s photo challenge rather well.
Here is a regular shot of a fountain in Chicago. Beautiful day, great backdrop:
But with my “dramatic tone” filter, the mood of the photo completely changes to one of ominousity (is that a word?):
Again, here is a cool indoor shot, capturing some unique architecture of the Cultural Center/Library:
Yet, with the same filter, the shot turns completely artsy fartsy:
And finally, the good ole’ Chicago Bean. I took this shot as I was walking past, through a park adjacent to it. Here is the full photo:
But when I crop in on it, it gives the viewing of the skyline a totally different POV:
