Hellooo Shimmer,To make the perfect cupcakes:
makes 24 cupcakes
For sponge-
225g caster sugar
225g self raising flour
225g butter
4 eggs
Vanilla extract (optional)
For butter icing-
175g butter
350g icing sugar
Food colouring, decorations (optional)
To make it:
Pre heat oven and lay out 24 cupcake cases in muffin trays/ normal tray.
Mix all the sponge mix together until you get a smooth texture.
Divide equally into the cases
Bake at 180c for 15-20 mins or until slightly golden.
Take out of oven and leave to cool.
While cooling make the icing.
Mix the butter icing ingredients together until you get a smooth, slightly thick mixture - if you are using food coloring add a little drop at a time until you get your wanted color.
Once the cakes are cool spoon or pipe the icing on to your cakes and decorate
Finally eat them.....
