Finally.. finally I’ve finished using my Etude House Oh My Goodness! Trouble Break Mist - well, theoretically I didn’t really finish it. There was about 20-25% left in the bottle, but somehow, the spray had stopped working properly. It would periodically decide to dispense some on me – only when I was holdng it upside down. Then, it got to the point where it wouldn’t even work upside down. Temperamental, I tell you.
Anyhoos, I hurled it into the bin with aplomb and decided that it was time to change to a new body lotion. An excuse of any kind works for me hurhurhur.
Orbis Clear Body Lotion Oil Cut
I say…
As with most of my beauty purchases in Korea, I was also coerced suckered into buying this by flipping the pages of Ceci or Allure Korea whilst doing my hair at Cecica Hair Salon with Jei. I mean, it has to be really popular in Korea for a reason right?
- It’s a pretty no-frills item – it’s a large plastic bottle with a pump that also works upside down.
- The pump system is also slightly different – I can’t quite explain it fully, but somehow, it’s easier to spray and there’s a feeling of a specific amount being dispensed at the end of each pump. It’s kinda like the recoil after shooting a bullet, if you get what I mean.
- The surface area covered by the spray is also much larger than the Etude House Trouble Break Mist – in fact, it’s at least double the surface area.
- The mist dispensed also consists of much finer droplets, so it’s easily absorbed and doesn’t drip or stain your clothes.
- I love the fact that it only takes 1 pump for my chest/decolletage area and 1 pump for my back (so I save time in the morning), and also cos it helps me minimise product wastage.
- There’s not much of a scent actually. If I had to describe it, I’d call it a clinical medical smell (not that it stinks).
- It also leaves my skin feeling refreshed and non-sticky/non-greasy after application. So far, yup it seems to be keeping the bacne and chest blemishes at bay.
As much as I like the scent of Etude’s Trouble Break Mist, I would totally pick this cos of its more efficient pump delivery system. Now to cross my fingers that Orbis Singapore brings it in, or else I’ll have to zip over to Korea again to buy them.
