I have the Revealed, Revealed 2, and Revealed 3 palettes from Coastal Scents. I am a huge fan of those palettes and I couldn't wait to try the new Revealed Smoky palette! I thought it would be fun to review this palette by creating six different eye looks using the palette. Of course, there are many more looks that can be created. However, these are six looks I created.
I received this palette in my January 2016 Boxy Charm Box. I was so excited they included a palette in the January box. I couldn't wait to start using the eyeshadows. There are 20 eyeshadows in the palette. The palette offers a wide range of colors and I love the colors included. They are deep shades, which will be so perfect for smoky eyes.
There are some matte shades and some shimmery shades. I love having a mix of eyeshadow textures in palettes. Having a mix of shades, helps to create a huge variety of looks. Many of the eyeshadows are very pigmented. However, a few of the lighter colors are not. The shimmery shades leave much to be desired and I was not a fan of them. I wish the lighter shades were a big more pigmented The deeper shades and the matte shades are extremely pigmented (as you can see from the swatches above). I am totally obsessed with the top 2 shade as a transition shade! It is so perfect and I will be using it in all my looks! In the swatches, I did not use any primer under the shadows.
The eyeshadows blend really well and they were so easy to use. The lighter shades are a bit powdery. There is some fallout with the glitter shades. Overall, I really like the colors and the consistency of the eyeshadows. I would recommend this palette, especially for the deep matte shades.
