Last Wednesday I was lucky enough to attend a Lush Mother's Day at my local Lush store; Macquarie Centre in Sydney. Considering it was Mother's Day even, it was only fitting that I took my Mumma with me.
The night involved eating nibbles, drinking bubbles, playing games, and being pampered (
mini-facials and arm treatments).My team won the Lush trivia, which was awesome as I received a bottle of The Olive Branch Shower Gel (something I have been eyeing off for a while). Take that Lush heads! I clearly know my Lush; this is what happens when you are obsessed with the stuff like myself.
One thing that really impressed me was that we even got to make a product! We made the Angels On Bare Skin Cleanser and even got to take a mini pot of it home that is sure to last a while.
I even got a goody bag for being one of the first 30 to reserve a spot. This event was free of charge and open to the public. I found out about it in store via flyers lying around on the display tables. Anyways, back to the goody bag... this was amazing and so generous on behalf of lush.
My goody bag contained:
- Popcorn Lip Scrub.
- Lip Balm.
- Sikkim Girls Body Cream.
- Sample size of the Neon Love Soap.
- Chocolates and lollies... YUM!
To finish off the night I made a few purchases (of course this was going to happen).
I purchased:
- Twilight Bath Bomb.
- Melting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt.
- Bubblegum lip Scrub
It was a really fantastic night and although this was my first Lush event, I really can't recommend attending one enough! I will be jumping at the chance to go to another one when the opportunity is made available to me. Not only did I walk away with a bundle of divine Lush products, I also had a fantastic night and learnt so much about the products and history of the brand.
