I have recently developed a little craziness for all things pastels. Pastels might not be the right colors to sport in the Monsoon Season but for me Pastels and Cold Seasons reminds me of the Ice Princess Stories i heard as a child. Princess would wear beautiful pastels (even in cold weather) that melt against her porcelain like skin in the stories; and somehow that fascinates me alot. Though Monsoon might not be the exact right thing here but then who cares?? Any thing is possible in imagination.. NO?? But seriously i always wondered why no Princess story is ever attached to Monsoon?? Or did i miss it??Well that story thing aside i have NYX Girls French Pink or even called as Francaises Rose today to show you.This in particular makes my skin look very very tanned in pics than in real but i really love this color to bits (did i already say that before?? lol *.*). Its a lovely Milky Pale Pink color in creme formula. Sometimes it looks like more of a pale powdery pink color to me too. Formula is perfect and one can get an opaque finish in single coat but after all these years of polish obsession and addiction am no expert in applying polish; and I often reach out for second coat for the perfect finish. That said do grab this one if you are into Pastels. Its a great color to have in stash!!Well, here are the swatches ~
